Alleged Norteno Gang Members Arrested After 2 Chases
Four alleged Norteno gang participants were arrested late Wednesday night in Santa Rosa after officers conducted a traffic stop.

SANTA ROSA - Four alleged Norteno gang participants were arrested late Wednesday night in Santa Rosa after officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in which they were riding.
Police said shortly before midnight an officer conducted a traffic stop, when the driver of a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign on Bicentennial Way at Ventura Avenue.
According to police, one of the occupants, later identified a 19-yar-old Chase Galitello-Hawkins, ran towards Kaiser Hospital after the vehicle was stopped. Police said he was apprehended and taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for vandalism as well as on suspicion of fleeing.

During the incident with Galitello-Hawkins, the driver of the vehicle sped off attempting to evade police. A short pursuit ensued on southbound U.S. Highway 101 and the vehicle reached speeds of 90 mph, before exiting and stopping at Davis Road.
Police said the driver, identified as 26-year-old Ryan Garcia was taken into custody without incident.

There were three additional occupants in the vehicle, identified as Jessie Anguiano, 19, Alfonso McCloud, 24, and a 16-year-old Santa Rosa resident.
Police allege that all of the subjects in the vehicle are active Norteno gang participants and three of the five subjects were arrested and booked into the Main Adult Detention Facility.
Garcia was booked on suspicion of felony reckless evading and McCloud for violating his gang term probation.
Additionally, the 16-year-old was booked into Los Guilicos Juvenile Hall for violating his gang term probation.
Anguiano was released without being charged.
