Alleged Rohnert Park Prostitute Arrested With Stun Gun, Meth Pipe: Cops
BREAKING: The 42-year-old reportedly told police she carried the stun gun for protection while she is prostituting,

ROHNERT PARK, CA – A suspected Rohnert Park prostitute with a criminal past was arrested this week after Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety detectives discovered her alleged internet advertisement stating she was available for prostitution services in Rohnert Park, authorities said.
Detectives determined the ad had allegedly been posted by Tabetha Marie Slay, 42, who had an outstanding parole violation warrant for her arrest after having been sentenced to prison in 2015 for an armed robbery conviction, Sgt. Jeff Justice of the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety stated in a news release.
On Wednesday, a detective contacted Slay at the phone number she listed and arranged a "date" with her in which she allegedly agreed to perform a sex act for money, Justice said.

"The detective told Slay he was staying at a motel in Rohnert Park, in an attempt to get her to come to the motel so she could be arrested," Justice said. "Slay told the detective she was also staying at the same motel, and she said she would come over to the room he said he was in."
At about 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, detectives spotted Slay walking through the motel to the agreed upon room, Justice said. She was met outside the room by detectives and taken into custody.

According to Justice, Slay was in possession of a stun gun, which is illegal for her to possess as a convicted felon.
"She said she carried the stun gun for protection while she is prostituting," Justice said.
Slay was also allegedly found with narcotic pills and a meth pipe, the sergeant said.
Slay was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of parole violation, prostitution, being a felon in possession of a stun gun and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
She was also evicted from the motel, Justice said.
Authorities did not disclose the name of the motel.
