Argument Turns Physical in Guerneville; Man Stabbed
The fight began in a parking lot of a Main Street liquor store.

Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a stabbing that stemmed from an argument in Guerneville Monday afternoon, a sheriff’s lieutenant said.
Around 4:15 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a male stabbing victim who arrived to the emergency room at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, sheriff’s Lt. Al Vernon said.
Arriving deputies spoke with the victim, who was at first uncooperative, and learned that he was involved in an argument with the suspect in the parking lot of the MD liquor store in the 16300 block of Main Street in Guerneville about an hour before he went to the hospital, Vernon said.

The argument turned into a physical fight in which the male suspect armed with a knife stabbed the victim in the lower abdomen, according to Vernon.
The victim was transported in a private car to Sutter Hospital but was later taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital due to the nature of his injuries, the lieutenant said.
