Donna DeLaBriandais is showing a stunning collection of oil paintings of the Laguna as well as several creeks in the watershed such as Santa Rosa, Matanzas, Crane and Yulupa creeks, that all flow into the Laguna de Santa Rosa. It is an educational and creative show! The FREE Sunday reception will have with live jazz music and refreshments. Come a bit early (after 2pm) and take a self-guided tour around the Laguna Environmental Center.
Donna has been painting gorgeous scenes along the Laguna De Santa Rosa for several years and was inspired to branch out into incorporating creeks that flow into the Laguna after her interests were perked by signs along the road identifying the Laguna De Santa Rosa Watershed. We hope this exhibit will inspire you to explore and preserve the many lovely creeks and waterways that find their way to the Laguna, the Russian River, and ultimately the ocean. If you are inspired by the beautiful works of art, be sure to check-out the Plein Air Watercolor Painting Workshop Donna will be holding at Heron Hall on Saturday, November 1, 10am-4pm.
