Green Greenwald’s colorful “Treescapes” art show will be on exhibit in Heron Hall at the Laguna Environmental Center March 28 through June 29, 2014. Join us for his opening reception April 12 from 3-5 pm. The reception is free with no RSVP necessary. Light snacks will be provided. Come early and enjoy our Second Saturday of the Month Open House, 10am-3pm.We are thrilled to host the brilliant and lively work of local artist Green Greenwald. His “Treescapes” exhibit features creations inspired by nature. This magically mind-bending take on the ordinary is an experience not to be missed!“Nature is the best teacher.”You may recognize Green’s painted car driving around town, looking like something you’d see in a cartoon. He’s also been co-responsible for the Cirque du Silly shows at First Night in Santa Rosa in years past, featuring sculpted-form creatures come to life through the magic of puppetry. Maybe you've seen one of his giant sculpted statue/pedestals representing giant koi. With a fascinatingly diverse background of art schools, rock bands, radio stations, performance art, and painting, Green Greenwald has an uncanny ability for the absurd, bringing his polychromatic style to everything he touches. For more information on Green, see his website, www.GreenGreenwald.com.
