Attic Fire in Kenwood Extinguished Overnight

Firefighters in Sonoma County spent about two hours extinguishing a fire in the attic of a home in Kenwood, a fire dispatcher said this morning.

The first call came in at about 12:45 a.m. at 7708 State Highway 12 and firefighters had the fire out at about 2:30 a.m., the dispatcher said.

Firefighters were able to contain the flames to the attic.

Three fire protection districts responded, including firefighters from Kenwood, Santa Rosa and Glen Ellen.

Neither residents nor firefighters suffered injuries in the blaze.
