Back-To-School Driving Reminder From Rohnert Park Police

News from the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety:

The Department of Public Safety is encouraging drivers to give an extra 10 minutes for travel today as school is back in session.

Officers will be in the area of the schools. Please stay off the cell phone and give your undivided attention to the roadway and surrounding area as there will be an increase in pedestrians.

If you have a high school student attending Rancho Cotate High School, please drop them off in the University Square Parking Lot.

Be patient, drive defensively and avoid distractions.
