Friday night in Napa, a bear climbed a tree when it became noticed by humans. It was tranquilized after a fish-and-wildlife biologist climbed a fire department ladder. The bear was then released back into the wild outside of the Napa Valley, a state wildlife official told Patch.
Another bear sighting: this time, Cotati Police say a brown bear has been spotted in the "L Section" of Rohnert Park (that's S of E Cotati Ave and W of the SMART tracks)
