Roblar Fire Chars 63 Acres West Of Rohnert Park, Petaluma
The wildfire was declared 100 percent contained by Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Cal Fire at 6 p.m. Monday declared the Roblar Fire west of Rohnert Park and Petaluma 100 percent contained at 63 acres.
Crews from multiple Sonoma County agencies responded to the brush fire which broke out at 2:28 p.m. in a rural area near 7175 Roblar Road.
The wildfire prompted the closure of Stony Point Road between West Sierra Avenue and Mecham Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The blaze sent smoke into the cities of Rohnert Park, Petaluma and Cotati.
"There are no fires in Rohnert Park at this time," the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said in a Nixle alert shortly after 3 p.m. "Rohnert Park is experiencing drift smoke from a wildfire off of Roblar Road to the southwest of the city."

The city of Cotati also sent an advisory regarding the fire.
"The visible smoke is from the fire on Roblar Road in Southeast Sonoma County," the Cotati Police Department said in a Nixle alert at 3:53 p.m. "There is no threat to Cotati at this time. There are multiple road closures in that area. We will send an update if conditions change."
