The eight-week show features between 30 and 34 California artists.
If selected to be part of the 2014 Art for the Holidays Show, each artist will pay $65 for gallery space, plus HCA sales commission of 30% on all items sold during the show.
HCA will handle all sales/sales tax and will provide the artist with a check at the end of the show for all sales (less 30% commission).
Past experience indicates that the most common price point of sales during the holiday season is in the $30 - $50 range. Sales of higher priced items occur, but in lesser quantity.
This is a gallery show, so artists need not be present while the show is open. Attendance at the artists’ reception is encouraged but not mandatory. HCA will handle the show setup and sales.
Display areas available include shelving, pedestals, wall space, and window space. Artists are responsible for the shipping costs and insurance to and from the show, and labeling their items for sale with the retail price and an artist code (to be provided by HCA after acceptance).
Eligibility
This show is open to all artists, living and working in California.
