The driver, a 34-year-old Rohnert Park resident, was helped out of the car by firefighters and Sonoma Life Support personnel, then taken by ambulance to the same hospital.

Police believe the driver suffered a medical emergency, which caused the crash, Johnson said.

The incident caused moderate damage to the building.
