Cash Advance Business Robbed At Gunpoint In Rohnert Park: Police

Police shared surveillance images of the robbery in the hopes someone in the public recognizes the suspect.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — A Rohnert Park business was robbed at gunpoint Saturday, police said in a news release.

The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety was notified of a silent hold-up alarm at 1 p.m. Saturday at Advance America, Raley's Towne Center, Rohnert Park police Lt. Jeff Justice said.

The a man entered the cash advance business, pointed a black handgun at the teller, and demanded cash, Justice said.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash, then walked out of the business and through the Raley's Towne Center parking lot, Justice said.

"The investigation into the robbery and identity of the suspect is ongoing," Justice said. "The amount of money taken is not being disclosed at this time."
