Chase Bank Robbed In Santa Rosa
The Santa Rosa Police Department's Violent Crimes Detective Division is investigating the robbery.

SANTA ROSA, CA — An investigation was continuing Thursday into a bank robbery reported Wednesday in Santa Rosa.
Around 4:50 p.m., two tellers were working at the Chase Bank branch at 2245 Mendocino Ave. when a man walked in and handed a note to one of the tellers, Santa Rosa police said in a news release.
The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash, then left the bank on foot in an unknown direction, police said

There were no customers in the bank when the robbery took place.
The robbery suspect did not show a weapon, and the bank tellers were not injured, police said.

The suspect in the robbery was described as a white man of smaller stature who was wearing a blue hooded sweater pulled up around his head, black pants, and a mask covering the lower part of his face.
Officers searched the area but did not find the robber.
Detectives interviewed the bank tellers and other potential witnesses, and reviewed surveillance footage from the bank and adjacent businesses.
Police asked anyone with information regarding the robbery to call SRPD's non-emergency line at 707-543-3600 and ask for the Violent Crimes Detective Division in reference to case no. 21-13901.
