CHP Clears Big-Rig Accident From Hwy 101

The northbound lanes in Santa Rosa area are now open.

All lanes on Highway 101 reopened this afternoon following the accident involving a jackknifed big-rig, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP reported the multiple-vehicle traffic collision in the northbound lanes between College Avenue and Steele Lane in Santa Rosa.

All northbound lanes were closed at 2 p.m. and reopened as of 3:10 p.m., the CHP said.

“All lanes are now open, and all vehicles involved have been moved off the freeway,” the department said.
