City Of Cotati Wins Financial Transparency Award

In addition to the third straight year of award winning budgets and award winning popular annual financial report, the City of Cotati (City) was awarded a second straight Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting and the corresponding Award of Financial Reporting Achievement both given by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). These awards are for the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. Its attainment represents a significant dedication to best practices by the City.
