Comics Stripped 7

winning story teller and the creator/host of Comics Stripped, Dave Pokorny
invites national headlining comedians Johnny Steele (former winner SF Comedy
Competition) and Geoff Bolt (HBO’s Young Comedian’s Special) to share not only
their act, but their stories as well.

At a Comics Stripped show you'll get more than just stand-ups doing their act.  They'll be sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly of what it takes to make a roomful of people laugh.  Though still promising a load of belly laughs, don't expect your typical evening of standup. Stripped is a hybrid sort of a blend between Charlie Rose, NPR’s This American Life, and Woody Allen’s Broadway Danny Rose. 





The first half of the show you’ll see some of the funniest stand-up comedy in the land; and
then in the second half, we bring up the house lights and you get to break down
the fourth wall and ask those funny minds the stuff you really want to know
about the “job” of being a stand-up comic. 



It promises
to be an extremely fun night and it's your chance to look at the other side of
humor.
