Common Core Town Hall

Are you and your child
ready for the adoption of California's Common Core State Standards? Do you have
questions, concerns, or suggestions?

I am pleased to host a
Common Core Town Hall in conjunction with the Sonoma County Office of
Education. Parents, teachers, administrators, and the general public are
invited to attend and get answers to their questions about the new standards.
Expert speakers from the state and local level will be on hand to help members
of the community understand the impacts of Common Core.

The Common Core State
Standards (CCSS) were developed through a state-led initiative to establish
consistent and clear education standards for English and mathematics that will
better prepare students for success in the competitive global economy.
