Coroner IDs Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Hwy 121
The San Anselmo victim, 26, died at the scene despite passersby attempting to rescue her from her burning car.

The Sonoma County coroner’s office has identified a woman who died in a head-on crash on state Highway 121 in the Schellville area of Sonoma County Saturday night as 26-year-old Danielle Bell of San Anselmo.
Bell was driving a 1999 Mercedes-Benz E430 south on Highway 121 north of Ramal Road around 10:20 p.m. Saturday when she crossed the double-yellow lines and collided with a northbound 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, California Highway Patrol Officer Robyn Lescher said.

Bell’s car caught fire and several passersby stopped to pull her from the vehicle and give first aid, Lescher said.
Bell died at the scene.

Nestor Dutko, 53, and Victoria Dutko, 51, both of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, suffered major injuries.
Nestor was flown by CHP helicopter to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center and Victoria was flown by REACH helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The roadway was closed until 1:51 a.m. Sunday as a result of the collision, according to the CHP.
