PETALUMA, CA – The Petaluma Police Department, investigating numerous reports from area businesses receiving counterfeit $100 bills, has released photos of the suspects' vehicle and descriptions of the individuals involved.

Reports began Saturday from the Petaluma Outlet Mall and Petaluma Plaza Shopping Center, with five businesses confirmed as victimized at the two locations, police said. Additional victims were identified Tuesday by a bank processing the counterfeit cash, which had serial numbers that appeared similar or sequential on the bills.

The suspects' vehicle, described as a dark gray Dodge Durango with California license 7KSL003, is possibly a rental, police said.
