Dangerous Elevated Playground At G Park, no Inspection, or Permit

Your Playgrounds At G Park Are OUT OF CODE COMPLIANCE in many different Sections.You all knew it as it was being installed non Permitted and total out of All UBC And Public Playground Safety Guidlines, you knew it when I started to email you all, and you had to Wait For Three Weeks to let the Water Evaporate, but after Three Weeks it didn’t Drain Or Evaporate. So you went and covered up the Remaining, non draining, Contaminated and Very Hazardous Water Under the Redwood Bark that was used for the LOOSE FILL FALL PROTECTION. You buried the Dangers so the Public couldn’t see it. I was emailing you all with the pictures and the sections of codes that were violated. You all still did nothing. One of your Supervisors saw the construction violations and did nothing to stop them. He has done a great job trying to fix the problems in G Park with the people and tools that are given him to use. But I’m sure he was over ruled by you all. I was also informed that you do this type of projects all the time, where a Project Manager orders something, and gets it installed without going through the proper inspections to assure that they are being done, And the fact that they take short cuts to save money. This violates all the rules in the book. No Cost controller with my money, no inspection being done, no Safety in Designs being done. And what we get as a Citizen, is a Deadly Elevated Playground Installed where our kids and grandkids could get hurt or killed. Seven foot falls, two foot short Landing Zones, Contaminated Material Under the Bark, Huge Rats Living in all the Ground Cover surrounding the Playground. Non covered Trash Bins All around the Playgrounds. So even now that you all tried to stop the Reporting of the Violations, you still let it be used by the Older Kids and the Toddlers . But being 5 or 6 years old won’t help you when you walk off a 7’ high Platform, or your 6’ High Walkway, With turns and steps, but no Handrails. They lose their balance and over they go, Broken Necks Can Happen from 6’ falls also. That’s why they require hand rails on platforms and walkways that are over 36” off the ground.They have also refused to Answer as to how it ok to let the Local Children Play in the Upper G Sections of the STORMWATER DRAINAGE SYSTEMS OUTLET that is right where all the kids play, when the Sediment And Vegetation blocks the outlet, and after the Exposed Section dries, and the kids build Bike Jumps, and Play in the Contaminated Sediment. Again, you all had knowledge of the non Operational Stormwater Drainage System that wasn’t emptying after the rains. This not only Eleminates the Capasity of the Second Line That was installed because G Section Flooded in a Storm, because ONE line couldn’t handle it. Now they Both Stay Half Full Most Of the Year, the OPEN one and the one that is Burried Under the Bike Path, when they are Both needed the most. This also keeps the Floating Hydrocarbons inside the line and lets the Hydrocarbon Vapors Exit Out Our Street Drains, right where our kids play, at the end of the streets. I started to warn the City, in writing in 2016, two years ago when we were walking down the street and say steam vapors coming out. These vapors had Hydrocarbon vapors coming up with the steam because the non draining water temp. inside the underground lines keep a high temp. then the outside temp.. Proof of the Hydrocarbons Trapped under the roads. He said the County was coming in to remove the vegetation and Sediment Down stream so it would drain the system properly. They only installed a 100 foot (Heavy Metals Settling Out Pool) at the end of the underground Section of the System At G Park, and the other line, at the End of the Drain line off Snyder, next to the walking path. This was done so the Heavy Metals could drop out of the flow as soon as the flow slowed down.This is against all Environmental Regulations and you know it.The Law states that the City’s are required to keep the OPEN sections of their STORMWATER DRAINAGE SYSTEMS Culverts, clear and in Proper FLOWING Conditions. You are also Required to Keep the Overgrown, Dried Materials From The Fence Lines As Required By The Fire Code. In the G Section, you just let the Dangers Grow Year after Year. WHY? I have sent notice to my State and Local Government Sources, Feinstein, and Thompson and The County’s Fire Inspectors. I am also sending them the u-tube link to the video of our meeting so they can see for them selfs how the city makes up their own Rules and interprets the RPMC and Section 718 as the want to. I will start printing copies of all the emails with the pictures and codes that they are Violating Daily.

I will also be sending emails with Photos of the CFR, UBC, ADA Code and Fire Violations to all the local Insurance Companies so I don’t get My rates raised because of the City’s Total Disreguard Of ALL CODES

They are Paying over $101,000.00 a year for JOB THAT They are doing, it’s easy to see why they have to cut corners on Safety to Pay ALL OF them. They took a non trained Person and said (Poof, your a Code ENFORCEMENT Inspector) with no prior training. You can look up the Salaries of the other City’s Employees on their WEB site.

As I have been stating, NONE of THEIR PARKS MEET the Number of REQUIRED ADA Handicapped Parking Stalls Of 1 Out Of every 6 Stalls must be set aside for US to park close. Plus the Asphalt on most areas is UNEVEN and DANGEROUS. THE COMMUNITY CENTER HAS 4 SPACES FOR 100 SPOTS. THE HEALTHY CANT WALK A EXTRA 20’. SAD.

At most of them, they must of taken the money they are saving from the Paint and Labor to pay the HIGH Salaries of the Mayors AND MANAGERS Office and the CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS!

IF YOU SEE AREAS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOODS THAT NEED WORK TO BE BROUGHT UP TO CODE! CONTACT THE CITY HALL AND LET THEM KNOW.

THE NEXT BIG MONEY SPENDATURE IS THE 1 1/2 MILLION DOLLARS FOR THE BIKEPATH RE-PAVING PROJECT. THEY WILL JUST DO THE EASY ONES, BY THE HOMES OF THE CITYS COUNCLES MEMBERS, AND NOT THE WORST OFF PATHS THAT NEED IT THE MOST. YOU CAN SEE THAT ALL THE CREEK PATHS AROUND THEIR SECTIONS ARE ALL CLEARED OF ALL THE FIRE DANGERS, AND HAVE GOOD PAVING COMPAIRED TO G AND H PATHS ALONG THE CREEK. AS I USE MY MOBILITY WHEELCHAIR ON THE PATHS AROUND THE G SECTION, I HAVE BEEN SENDING IN PICTURES OF ALL THE BROKEN AND OVERLLY SLOPED (in the wrong direction). PATHWAYS THAT ALSO DONT DRAIN THE RAINWATER TO THE STORMWATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM RIGHT NEXT TO IT. IT ALLOWS THE WATER TO GATHER AND BECOME HAZARDOUS. THIS IS RIGHT BEHIND YOUR HOUSES AND BACK YARDS. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CREEK THEY LET ALL THE VEGITATION GRO TO THE HEIGHT OF 20’. THEY WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE OLD ASPHALT AND RE-COMPACT THE SUB-BASE AS REQUIRED BY UBC. THAT IS WHY THEY WONT DO THIS WORK TROUGH THE CODE INSPECTIONS GROUP.

SO THEY WILL BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN, OR JUST MAKE YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN SICK.

AS FOR THE HOMES THAT ARE RIGHT NEXT TO THE OUTLET AT G PARK THAT THEY LET THE STREET RUNOFF BRING THE HEAVY MEATLS AND DEPOSITE THEM RIGHT WHERE YOUR KIDS PLAY.

YOU SHOULD ALL HAVE YOUR KIDS TESTED FOR HIGH LEVELS ON LEAD POISONING. AS IT WILL BUILD UP OVER THE YEARS AND SLOW DOWN THEIR LEARNING ABILITIES.

ALSO YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR INSURENCE COMPANIES TO LET THEM KNOW OF THE CITIES FIRE CODE VIOLATIONS THAT THEY ALLOW TO REMAIN.

ALONG THE SIDEWALKS ALONG SNYDER, BETWEEN GOLFCOARSE DR. AND HOLLY, ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD, THE CREWS BLOW THE LEAVES AND STICKS UP AGAINST YOUR FENCES BACKSIDES, OUT OF VIEW.

AGAIN SAVING MONEY TO PAY FOR THE (in my opinion) THE OVERPAID, NOT QUALIFIED, MANAGEMENT POSITIONS.
