Up date on our Million Dollar Plus Engineering Costs
I don't see where the new Path matches the Contract, the addendum's #1, #2 #3, the Instructions, Engineering Work, was Stated Clearly.
So nothing was done per the Contract, or for a Class 1 Mixed -Use Bike Path, or the ADA Paved Path Requirements. They were supposed to take out the Asphalt Path. And have Arborists Remove All Tree Roots to a Depth Of 12”. Then install Root Guards at the Trees.
None of this was done, they Ground Out a 8’ wide Path in the Asphalt, and installed their new base rock. This turned a 12’ Mixed Use Path into a 8’ wide path with Shoulders that will send people and kids into the Culvert. Plus it will all become Soft, and non structural.
It’s not what we Paid for! A million bucks plus Engineering (ha! ha! ha!).
