Deadline To Register For Nov. 4 Special Election Today

Where to register and what to do if you miss the deadline.

PETALUMA, CA — Sonoma County residents have until Oct. 20 to register to vote in the upcoming Nov. 4 Statewide Special Election, Registrar of Voters Evelyn Mendez announced Thursday.

Eligible voters who miss the deadline can still register and vote in person using same-day registration at the Registrar of Voters Office or at any Vote Center.

Voters can register online at RegisterToVote.ca.gov by 11:59 p.m. Oct. 20, or submit a paper form at any post office or library.

Mailed forms must be postmarked no later than Oct. 20.
