Special Activities and Presentation -- All About Waterfowl!

Our Second Saturday of the Month Open House in January will be all about DUCKS and other waterfowl! There will be special educational displays and fun, hands-on activities for all ages.
Learn about the natural and cultural history of the Laguna de Santa Rosa and historic Stone Farm by taking a guide-led tour or exploring a variety of hands-on activities. Crawl through the living willow tunnel in the children’s playscape. Birdwatch from the observation deck. Stop by for a visit and take in the beautiful views. Bring a picnic! Enjoy our gift shop in Great Blue Heron Hall and the beautiful new art exhibit “A Photographic Journey Through the Laguna de Santa Rosa” (on display through December 23rd).
Then stick around for a special TALK at 3pm, Waterfowl of the Laguna de Santa Rosa and the Pacific Flyway with Dave Barry. The presentation is $10 at the door. No RSVP necessary.
Also join us Sunday, January 10, 7:30-11am for a waterfowl WALK with Dave Barry along the Laguna. $30. Pre-registration required for the walk: http://www.lagunafoundation.org/laguna_walks_classes.shtml.
