Easter Bunny Comes to Santa Rosa Plaza & Coddingtown Mall

Santa Rosa Plaza and Coddingtown Mall are hosting Easter celebration festivities, offering families the chance to participate in traditional and unique seasonal events.

The Bunny Photo Experience begins Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m.and runs through April 15at both centers. Kids will have the chance to visit with the Bunny and take home a treasured snapshot of the fun occasion. Save time and avoid the line with Bunny by Appointment! • Easter Kidgit Event at Coddingtown Mall is Saturday, March 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Bunny Photo Experience, located near the Children’s Play Area and JCPenney Court. There will be a mall-wide scavenger hunt where children can read clues with their parents to decipher which store to visit for a prize, along with arts and crafts, and of course, a special visit from Bunny!
• Santa Rosa Plaza’s Caring Bunny™ on Sunday, March 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. will offer families that have children with special needs a subdued environment to participate in the Bunny Photo Experience. Caring Bunny, the largest program of its kind, has been developed by Simon and is guided by AbilityPath.org, a national online resource hub and special needs community. Over 90 Simon® properties will host the Caring Bunny this season. Autism Speaks provided promotional assistance. Many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s cherished visit with the Bunny. The subdued environment is likely to include:
  • Turning off in-mall music and dimming the lights for the duration of the event.
  • Eliminating queue lines through the use of a numbering system.
  • Special activities during the ‘wait’ period to help the child understand what activities will occur during the visit.
• Pet Photos at Coddingtown Malland Santa Rosa Plaza are Sunday, April 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at both centers for furry family members to capture photos with the Easter Bunny. Reserve your appointment in advance by visiting here for Coddingtown Mall and here with the Plaza.
