The Choice for Change”

We need a change on the Board of Trustees for the Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District. We need board members who will ask the tough questions and ensure that our limited resources are prioritized. If elected, I am committed to:

Hold Town Hall Style/Community Meetings at least monthly to hear concerns/ideas from staff, teachers and community members; effective communication and collaboration are essential to a working relationship

Ensure that teachers have the tools in the classrooms (supplies, books, tracking software that works) in order to:

Improve test scores

Increase graduation rates

Increase the number of students attending college

Restore special education services

Support, attract and retain quality staff and faculty

Build partnerships with the community by ensuring transparency

Ensure controversial issues are debated and discussed in a public forum with all staff and community having input

We must ensure that top priority is given to the safety of staff and students in regards to repairs and maintenance; leaking roofs, asbestos removal, lead removal.
