Election Day In Cotati: Where To Take Your Mail-In Ballots
Voters in Cotati are deciding on Measure G, a tax on marijuana cultivation businesses. However, due to the fires, no polls will be open.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Due to the recent wildfires throughout Sonoma County, officials say local resources needed to conduct elections were redirected or became scarce. As such, California Gov. Jerry Brown issued an executive order declaring the election scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 7 will be conducted entirely by mail.
There are three local measures on the Sonoma County ballot Tuesday, affecting only the registered voters in those areas:
- Measure F - Wilmar Union School District Parcel Tax, Petaluma
- Measure G - City of Cotati Cannabis Industry Business Tax
- Measure H - Town of Windsor Urban Growth Boundary Renewal and Extension
Also in Sonoma County, two candidates, Tom Giacinto and William Doyle, are vying for one board seat on the Timber Cove County Water District, which serves the coastal community of Sea Ranch.
