Sonoma State School of Business and Economics Celebrates its 25th Birthday with Lagunitas
Sonoma State’s School of Business and Economics is turning 25 this year! Legendary brewery Lagunitas and community grocer Oliver’s Market are generously sponsoring a party to kick off a year of celebration and 25 years of graduating outstanding business and economics students. All alumni and friends of the school are invited to attend!
Come out Tuesday, June 21st from 5:00-8:00pm to the Lagunitas Beer Sanctuary located in Petaluma. Tickets are only $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Two beers, a delicious BBQ meal and live music are included with your ticket purchase. Buy your tickets at lagunitas.com. All proceeds support Sonoma State’s Wine Business Institute.
During the evening, Ray Johnson, Director of Sonoma State’s Wine Business Institute, will announce the winners of four wine business scholarships. The student recipients represent the best of the wine business program through their self-determination and ability to incorporate their classroom studies into their current occupations in the local wine industry. The Donn P. Reisen/ZAP Scholarship, the Susan Cagann Scholarship, and the Women for Wine Sense Scholarship are examples of the kind of public-private partnership that draws students and future leaders to Sonoma State’s wine business degree programs.
