Buzzy Martin
The true story of one musician's unique journey. Drawn to California in pursuit of the dream of rock stardom, a young midwestern guitar player finds himself teaching music to abused and at-risk inmates in juvenile detention centers and at San Quentin State Prison. His self-published memoir of the experience is picked up for national distribution by a major publishing house and is eventually made into a feature length motion picture. Musician, author, youth advocate Buzzy Martin brings a message of hope in support of "education - not incarceration."
