Support Public Art with Commemorative Bricks

Buy a brick, make your mark, support public art!

Rohnert Park’s Cultural Arts Commission eagerly anticipates the installation of a work of public art in the Civic Center to commemorate the Friendly City’s 50th Anniversary.  Patrick Amiot, a renowned local artist, has been appointed to create a 14-foot sculpture representing Waldo Emerson Rohnert, whose development of a seed farm in Sonoma County in the early 1930’s led to the establishment of Rohnert Park in 1962.  The sculpture will be erected near the Civic Center.

The Commission invites residents and businesses to support the art installation by purchasing customized bricks to be placed near the new sculpture in the Civic Center.  A 4”X8” brick, with or without clipart, is $100, and an 8”X8” brick is $250.  Businesses may also purchase an 8”X8” brick with a company logo for $350.  To design and purchase your own commemorative brick, visit www.rp50.org.  Honor the memory of a loved one, show your support for Rohnert Park, or celebrate a special event in 2012.  Only a limited number of customized bricks can be installed, so order soon!
