The 21st Cotati Accordion Festival is a multi-cultural, multi-generational, musical extravaganza held in La Plaza Park in Cotati. Over twenty bands will be featured along with films, workshops, polka and zydeco dancing, lessons, vendors and four stages of blazing accordions. Are you ready to party with the best accordion players out there? You betcha! Bring your accordion to play in the Lady of Spain-a-Ring! In support of our local vendors, outside food and drink is not permitted.
Tickets are available on line at http://www.cotatifest.com and at all Oliver’s Markets, People’s Music and The Last Record Store at $15 in advance, $25 for both days, and $17 at the gate. The festival includes the Jam Tent, The Polka Tent, the Zydeco Dance Party, arts and crafts vendors, and plenty of food, wine and beer. There will be 30 acts featuring Tango, Russian, Klezmer, Country, Middle Eastern, Italian, Punk, Irish, Polka, Rock, Zydeco and Mariachi.
