'The Farthest Shore' AT SRJC: Printmaking Exhibit To Open 2018
Feb. 22 opening reception to feature Canadian printmaker Kelsey Stephenson as the guest speaker.
SANTA ROSA, CA – The Farthest Shore, an immersive exhibit of works by six, female printmaking artists, will be featured at the Robert F. Agrella Art Gallery at Santa Rosa Junior College from Feb. 20 through March 15.
The artists’ works will be shown together for the first time, inviting viewers to consider ideas of landscape, water, and the unknown through large paper installations that will fill the gallery to create a space for viewers to explore their own farthest shore, according to organizers.
Artists include: Kelsey Stephenson; Olesya Dzhuraeva; Jenny Robinson; Nicole Pietrantoni; Jen Basile.

Entrance is free. Parking in SRJC lots is $4.
The opening reception for The Farthest Shore will be on Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. at the Agrella Art Gallery, featuring Canadian printmaker Kelsey Stephenson as the guest speaker.

She will discuss her process and the inspiration behind her work, which has been featured in several exhibits and collections around the world, including the Royal Alberta Museum in Canada and the Guanlan Print Art Museum in China, organizers said.
The speaker’s attendance at this event is made possible by funds raised by SRJC art students at the Student Print Sale.
Admittance to the Robert F. Agrella Art Gallery is free, and children are welcome. The facility is part of Santa Rosa Junior College and located on the first floor of the Frank P. Doyle Library, 1501 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401-4395.
