Fatal Crash Reported On River Road In Sonoma County

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — At least one person died Tuesday evening following a collision on River Road in west Sonoma County, the California Highway Patrol said. The collision was first reported at 6:50 p.m. on westbound River Road at Slusser Road, according to the CHP.

A gravel truck reportedly collided with an SUV.

River Road was initially shut down in both directions and the CHP had asked drivers to use alternate routes. The road has since reopened.
