Felon Accused Of Shooting BB Gun Toward Neighbor's House: SRPD

A man was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and other charges after the BBs went through a child's bedroom window, police said.

SANTA ROSA, CA — A felon who was accused of shooting a BB gun at a neighbor's residence Wednesday night in Santa Rosa was arrested on multiple charges, police said.

Officers responded at 6:45 p.m. to the 2800 block of Apache Street to a report of someone shooting two BBs at his neighbor's residence, Santa Rosa police Sgt. Christopher Mahurin said.

"Both shots went through a juvenile neighbor's bedroom windows," Mahurin said. "The BB's almost struck the juvenile neighbor. Luckily no one was injured."

Police said the shooter, 56-year-old Santa Rosa resident Larry Davis, was detained then arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail on suspicion of child endangerment, negligent discharge of a BB device, violation of probation, felon in possession of three firearms, felon in possession of ammunition, felon in possession of a loaded and concealed gun and possession of an unregistered gun.
