SANTA ROSA, CA — Firefighters halted a fire Thursday in the kitchen of a fast food restaurant.

Three engines and a ladder truck were dispatched at 6:48 p.m. to reports of a structure fire at Carl's Jr., 495 Stony Point Road, near Third Street.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the broiler and ducting, the Santa Rosa Fire Department said.
