Fire Near Rohnert Park Apartment Complex Quickly Extinguished
The fire produced a cloud of dark smoke as it burned dangerously close to Edgewood Apartments.
ROHNERT PARK, CA — A fire broke out dangerously close to a Rohnert Park apartment complex Wednesday afternoon, sending up a cloud of dark smoke as firefighters rushed toward the flames. Crews from Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety were dispatched at about 1 p.m. to the fire near Edgewood Apartments, 557 Laguna Drive, near Target and a movie theater.
Sonoma County units assisted Rohnert Park fire personnel in putting out the blaze which was burning along a wooden fence that separates the complex from an adjacent property.
There were no apparent injuries, according to reports from the scene.
