Forestville Woman Killed In Windsor-Area Crash Identified

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified a woman who died in a solo vehicle crash near Windsor on Tuesday night as 64-year-old Susan Noble of Forestville.

Noble was driving a 2008 Toyota Matrix south on Eastside Road approaching Windsor River Road around 8:25 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Matrix drifted partially off the right side of the road and struck a tree less than a foot from the edge of the road, according to the CHP.

The impact spun the Matrix, blocking the northbound lane. Emergency responders found Noble dead at the scene, CHP officials said.

Noble was not wearing a seatbelt. The cause of the crash is under investigation, according to the CHP.
