Four Sonoma Co. Businesses Awarded Tax Credits
The businesses committed to investing $1.2 million and creating 27 new jobs in the county.

Four small Sonoma County businesses have been awarded tax credits totaling $369,000 from the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.
The businesses have committed to investing $1.2 million and creating 27 new jobs in the county over the next five years, Sonoma County Economic Development Board Director Bern Stone said.
The California Competes Tax Credit was created by Gov. Jerry Brown to help businesses grow and stay in California. Businesses compete for the income tax credits based on new investments on facilities, capital improvements and new employees over a five-year period.

Since January 2015, ten Sonoma County companies have been awarded tax credits of more than $2.5 million and have committed to investing over $8.4 million in the county and creating 554 new jobs over the next five years, the Economic Development Board said.
The four companies that were awarded tax credits Wednesday are:

- Zero Link Markets, a Windsor software developer with a net increase of 22 full-time employees;
- Integral Consulting Inc., an environmental consulting service in Petaluma, Larkspur, San Francisco and Santa Cruz with a net increase of 18 full-time employees;
- Thumbprint Wine Group Inc., a winery with locations in Geyserville and Healdsburg with a net increase of three employees;
- and Ajalon Printing & Design Inc., a Santa Rosa commercial printing business with a net increase of two full-time employees.
Zero Link Markets is investing $90,000 and will receive a $250,000 tax credit; Thumbprint Wine Group is investing $610,000 and will receive a $25,000 tax credit; Ajalon Printing and Design is investing $44,535 and will receive a $20,000 tax credit; and Integral Consulting Inc. is investing $430,000 and will receive a $74,000 tax credit.
