A day of family-friendly Fourth of July traditions awaits in Healdsburg with the annual Kids' Parade and Duck Dash festivities. Children can show off patriotic costumes and decorated bikes during the parade around the Plaza, while the Duck Dash raises funds for local community programs through playful duck races.

5th Annual RP Jubilee
When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 12–4 p.m.

Families can celebrate Independence Day at Rohnert Park's 5th Annual RP Jubilee, an afternoon filled with live music, games, food and free activities for all ages. Highlights include inflatables, giant outdoor video gaming, a foam zone, family contests and performances by Groove Ride.
4th of July Fireworks Spectacular & Kids Zone
When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 4:30 p.m. (performance begins at 7:30 p.m.)
Where: Green Music Center, Weill Hall + Lawn, Sonoma State University | 1801 E Cotati Ave, Rohnert Park

Music and fireworks come together for a festive Fourth of July celebration featuring performances by Transcendence Theatre Company and the Santa Rosa Symphony. Families can arrive early to enjoy carnival games, bounce houses, food and activities in the Kids Zone before the evening concludes with a fireworks display. You can purchase tickets here.
Floathouse Fireworks Paddle
When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 8:45–10:30 p.m.
Where: The Floathouse Petaluma | 50 Water St, Petaluma

For a unique view of Petaluma's Fourth of July fireworks, join the Floathouse Fireworks Paddle, located about 15 minutes away. Participants can kayak, canoe or pedal along the Petaluma River before watching the fireworks reflect across the water during this guided evening excursion. Purchase tickets online in advance, as space is limited.
Petaluma’s High Elevation Fireworks Display
When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 9:30 p.m.
Where: Petaluma Fairgrounds | 175 Fairgrounds Dr, Petaluma

Just 15 minutes away, Petaluma's Fourth of July celebration marks America's 250th birthday and California's 175th anniversary with a high-elevation professional fireworks display. Residents and visitors can enjoy the show from neighborhoods, parks and gathering spots throughout the city, with limited paid parking available at the Petaluma Fairgrounds.
Penngrove Parade & BBQ
When: Sunday, July 5, 2026, 12–4 p.m. (parade begins at 11 a.m.)

Small-town charm takes center stage in Penngrove, about 10 minutes away, during the community's 50th annual Stars, Stripes and Parade celebration. The event features a beloved hometown parade with floats, tractors, horses and marching groups, followed by barbecue, live music and family activities in Penngrove Park.
