Free Meals To Start For Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified Students

Families may bring their students to pick up two free meals per day per child at three school sites. Distance learning is also set to start.

ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — Starting Monday, the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District is providing two free meals a day for students.

The district's Food Services team is handing out the "Grab N Go" meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at three schools sites: Technology Middle School at 7165 Burton Ave.; Lawrence Jones Middle School at 5154 Snyder Lane; and Rancho Cotate High School at 5450 Snyder Lane.

Families who bring their students will receive two meals per child— infant through 18 years old — at no charge, according to the school district's website.

The district also says teachers are preparing lesson plans and gathering resources for "Distance Learning."

"Students will begin their coursework on Wednesday, March 25," according to the district. "Students will engage in distance learning and work remotely with their teachers. Teachers will be contacting their families with further information and direction."
