On July 11th, a ceremony was held at Graton Resort & Casino recognizing four Team Members who were recently naturalized through Graton’s Citizenship Program. The celebration consisted of a recognition ceremony and celebratory catered luncheon, which was attended by Graton Team Members along with the family members of the participants.

The four Team Members work in various departments including Table Games, Accounting, and Casino Marketing. Graton Resort & Casino offers assistance for Team Members seeking to acquire their U.S. Citizenship Certification, including financial aid, administration, translation services and more.

“Part of our broader social justice mission is to help everyone on our community succeed – beginning with our team members,” said Greg Sarris, the tribal chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. “We believe in dignity in the workplace and we will always do whatever we can to support and protect them. This is just one example of the things we can do, and are doing, to help our team members live right and empowered lives.”
