Gun-Related Road Rage Incident Leads To Arrest: Santa Rosa PD
A handgun loaded with 10 rounds was recovered in connection with the road rage incident, police said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A gun was seized in connection with a suspected road rage incident Saturday in Santa Rosa, police said.
A driver called police around 9:45 p.m. and said a passenger in another car pointed a gun at them, Santa Rosa police Sgt. Patricia Seffens said.
The victim described the suspect's car, including unique details about the car's appearance, Seffens said.

With the help of a Sonoma County Sheriff's Office helicopter crew, a sheriff's deputy found the suspect's car and stopped it in the 1900 block of Sebastopol Road.
The deputy was quickly assisted by several SRPD officers and two men were detained.

A search of the car uncovered a Springfield XD .40-caliber handgun loaded with 10 rounds, Seffens said.
Victor Arias-Contreras, a 19-year-old Santa Rosa resident, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of brandishing a loaded firearm in a threatening manner and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle, Seffens said.
"Thank you to the community members who provided vital information that led to locating the vehicle and to the SCSO deputies for the investigative assist!" Seffens said.
