The Sonoma County Multijurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (“MJHMP”) is a countywide plan that identifies risks and ways to minimize damage by natural disasters. The plan increases public awareness, helps comply with State and Federal program requirements, and enhances local policies and co-ordination.

Public Comment Deadline: July 30, 2021

The jurisdictions are asking for comment on the plan until July 30, 2021. Your comments will be reviewed by the Hazard Mitigation Planning Team and incorporated into the final plan as appropriate. Please send your comments to: PRMD-HazardMitigation@sonoma-county.org
