Head-On Collision Reported Tuesday Night On Hwy 12
The accident closed lanes in both directions. At least one person was reported injured.

Firefighters and the California Highway Patrol were on the scene of a collision Tuesday night on state Highway 12 in Sonoma County between the unincorporated communities of Kenwood and Glen Ellen.
A Sig-alert was issued at 10:41 p.m. after all lanes were closed in both directions. The incident was first reported at 10:09 p.m. in the vicinity of Highway 12 and Dunbar Road after a Chevrolet Tahoe and a Nissan Frontier collided head-on.
At least one person was injured, according to the CHP, and one person was trapped inside the pickup truck.

Further details about the cause of the collision and the condition of the vehicle occupants were not immediately available. As of 11 p.m., officers estimated it would be at least 30 minutes before the roadway reopened.
