Here's How Much Rain Has Fallen Near Rohnert Park, Cotati

Nearly a half an inch of rain has fallen Thursday in parts of Sonoma County, with more rain and possibly a thunderstorm still to come.

ROHNERT PARK AND COTATI, CA — Rainfall totals began to climb Thursday in Sonoma County and the North Bay as a storm bore down on the Bay Area, with more showers and possibly a thunderstorm and hail still to come.

The chance of rain in Rohnert Park and Cotati was expected to fall from 80 percent Thursday afternoon to 60 percent Thursday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

"New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms," the NWS said Thursday afternoon.
