Interested in Volunteering with Sonoma County Regional Parks?
A one-hour session is scheduled next week for those who may be considering joining the department.

Sonoma County Regional Parks is holding an orientation for new volunteers on Tuesday, aug. 26, at 6 p.m. in its regional offices.
Park officials ask that new volunteers, or individuals interested in volunteering with the department, attend the one-hour orientation.
The orientation will cover a history of the department as well as information regarding ongoing volunteer opportunities with Regional Parks.

Volunteer sign-up paperwork will be provided.
Orientations will take place at the Regional Parks Administration Office in Santa Rosa and RSVPs are required.
