A fabulous workday for native plant gardeners and enthusiasts who want to see a one-of-a-kind demonstration landscape with a wide diversity of established species and abundant wildlife. Meet at 4300 Llano Rd. and follow signs to the Administration building parking area.
One of the most gratifying things about being a Laguna Keeper is the chance to see firsthand the incredible impacts you can make to secure a brighter future for the Laguna. The Laguna Keepers are our habitat restoration volunteers. Each month, in partnership with the City of Santa Rosa, we meet to give the Laguna a little hands-on love! This can mean fence removal, willow sprigging, weed control, or planting, depending on the site and the time of year.
Keepers meet at locations throughout the Laguna, but workdays are always on a Saturday, 9am - noon. No RSVP is required. Only heavy rain cancels. Dress for dirt. Snacks are provided but please bring water, gloves and friends!Brent Reed, Restoration Projects Supervisor
