Cooking Under the Stars: Learn How at Point Reyes

You'll need to register soon. Ticket sales for the Point Reyes National Seashore Association event end Thursday.

POINT REYES STATION-A class on backcountry cooking being offered Saturday by the Point Reyes National Seashore Association has just a few spots left as of Monday morning.

The Art of Backcountry Cooking, offered by instructor Daryl Rogers, teaches you how to pack the β€˜perfect outdoor kitchen’ for an outdoor adventure, pointing out the backcountry stoves and fuels that work best for outdoor adventures.

According to the PRNSA website, this monthly class will offer a series of tips, resources, recipes, and includes a backcountry meal.

The class is Saturday, January 9 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. , at Point Reyes Station. Here’s a map of the area. Thee fee is $120 for members, $140 for non-members.
