Laguna Re-Leaf Day

Come and help plant the future at Sonoma County’s 5th
Annual Laguna Re-Leaf day April 5, 2014.

The Laguna Re-Leaf Day is like a walk-a-ton, except we plant
trees instead of walk miles! Volunteers ask friends, family, and co-workers to
support them by donating money to help the Foundation’s tree planting
restoration project. Funds that are raised in the Laguna Re-Leaf Day support
the Foundation’s mission and its Restoration, Conservation Science, and
Education programs. This event will help create a healthier wildlife habitat,
mitigate climate change and improve our air and water quality by restoring
riparian cover along Irwin Creek. Find out more about our Re-Leaf Day at
http://www.lagunadesantarosa.org/donate_treeathon.htm

Fundraising is made easy with the FirstGiving fundraising
portal that we set up the event with. This program allows you to create your
own personal web-based fundraising page to collect your donations. Instructions
for fundraising can be seen on our website at
http://www.lagunafoundation.org/donate_instructions.htm

On April 5th, 2014 we will spend about four hours planting
hundreds of trees and plants along the Laguna de Santa Rosa at Irwin Creek. After
all your hard work, we will celebrate with a pizza party! Families, individuals,
and businesses are all invited to participate, everyone is welcome! The event
takes place from 9am-noon and we will meet at the Laguna Environmental Center,
900 Sanford Road, Santa Rosa, 95472.
