LagunaKeepers Monthly Volunteer Workday
Saturday, April 16, 9am-noon Brown Farm, 2200 Llano Road, Santa Rosa No RSVP necessary

There is nothing more exciting for us than embarking on a new, large-scale habitat restoration project. This spring we have broken ground on our latest riparian habitat expansion project totaling 10 acres along Gravenstein Creek as it flows through Brown Farm before spilling into the Laguna de Santa Rosa. Enjoy the views of the rolling hills and the majestic old valley oaks on Brown Farm as you roll up your sleeves and get to work!
Only heavy rain cancels. Dress with appropriate clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Snacks and tools are provided but please bring water, gloves and friends! Please RSVP only if you are planning on bringing a group of 8 or more people so that we can have enough supplies.
Directions: Brown Farm is located at 2200 Llano Rd., Santa Rosa (between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol). Look for the green "Brown Farm Entrance" signs that are approximately ¼ mile south of highway 12 along Llano Road. Enter at the main entrance on Llano Road and follow the gravel road and signs to the project area down at Gravenstein Creek. Hope to see you there!
