Lightning Strikes Santa Rosa Pole, Knocking Out Power
BREAKING: A PG&E spokeswoman says a traffic light remains out at a busy intersection.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Lightning struck electrical equipment on a power pole near a busy Santa Rosa intersection this morning, knocking out power to 1,400 customers, a PG&E spokeswoman said.
The outage occurred around 7 a.m. near the Farmers Lane and Fourth Street intersection. Power was restored to all but 20 customers by around 8:30 a.m., PG&E spokeswoman Deanna Contreras said.
The traffic light at the intersection will be out until around 2 or 3 p.m., and PG&E crews will be on the scene until mid-afternoon, Contreras said.
